A former director for abortion provider Planned Parenthood who was suspected of child pornography killed himself before he could face the consequences of his alleged actions.
Thirty five year-old Tim Yergeau of New Haven, Connecticut, killed himself just five days after his neighbor’s apartment was mistakenly raided by police in their investigation of his connection to child pornography. After breaking down the door of his neighbor and handcuffing the woman, the Special Victims Unit realized they raided the wrong apartment.
Yergeau served as Planned Parenthood of Southern New England’s Director of Strategic Communications from 2018 to 2022. He began working at the Long Wharf Theatre in the capacity of marketing and communications director after leaving his post at Planned Parenthood. He also worked for the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation. His Instagram profile showed him participating in pro-abortion events and other activities related to pro-abortion advocacy.
Speaking to the Middletown Press, the police chief of New Haven, Karl Jacobson, said that “the person who died was definitely the suspect in a child pornography investigation and the person who committed suicide.”
He added: “It was an open investigation, so he knew he was going to be arrested.”
Details of their investigation have not yet been released as authorities are still working to determine if other individuals were involved. They have also opened an inquiry into how he committed suicide after the raid.
The neighbor, Stacey Wezenter, has filed a complaint against the New Haven Police Department for unjust handcuffing and trauma.
“What if I had a gun permit? What if I came down the hallway with a gun? Would I have gotten shot? What if my 4-year-old had woken up? Would they have shot him?” she asked the media.
This is not the only time someone employed by Planned Parenthood has been accused of taking part in sex-related crimes. For example, one PP abortionist, Roger Ian Hardy, was accused of sexual molestation by numerous female staffers and former patients in 2016; he has since fled the country.
Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood has a long history of helping cover up or ignoring sexual abuse, particularly when it involves underage girls.
The company was responsible for aborting more than 383,000 babies in 2020, helping them set a record for earnings that year of $1.714 billion, which was boosted by $633.4 million in taxpayer dollars.
However, their patient numbers have been declining as more information about their illegal and unethical acts come to light. They have been accused of covering up sexual abuse of minors, botching abortions in ways that killed women, selling the body parts of the babies they abort and selling cross-sex hormones to impressionable young girls. They have also been accused of systemic racism given the high proportion of abortions carried out there on black women.
In one case, Planned Parenthood allowed a 14-year-old girl to get an abortion after being impregnated by her 22-year-old soccer coach, allowing him to sign for the abortion in place of her parents to expedite the process and destroy evidence of his sexual abuse and statutory rape. On another occasion, PP staffers failed to report their knowledge of a father sexually abusing his 13-year-old daughter, facilitating her ongoing abuse for another year; a staffer noted at the time that their policy was “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
Of course, none of this should come as any surprise from a business that has shown time and time again that it has absolutely no regard for the sanctity of life, killing babies and harvesting their body parts for profit while ignoring sexual abuse and rape to protect their bottom line.
