Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, just so happens to also be the nation’s second largest provider of “gender affirming hormone care,” which it apparently makes available to patients as early as the first visit, according to shocking new reports.
Even though transgender chemical injections are very likely to cause permanent sterility or other lifelong health problems such as osteoporosis (bone loss) and even cancer, Planned Parenthood has decided to administer them as quickly as a patient wants them because it’s the “woke” thing to do.
On various Planned Parenthood websites, the baby-murdering group explains that its “care” options have expanded in recent years to include these transgender “therapies,” which experts in gender dysphoria warn should only be administered following a comprehensive patient analysis, especially when that patient is a minor.
According to sexual neuroscientist Dr. Debra Soh, not all cases of gender dysphoria are the same, and not all transgenders or people desiring to be transgenders actually know what they want or need. It is thus important to treat every instance on a case-by-case basis in order to protect patients from making a decision they’ll later regret.
“Parents, teachers, and medical professionals have been told that ‘affirming’ a child who identifies as the opposite sex is the only acceptable approach,” Dr. Soh wrote back in 2018. “Anything short of that is transphobic and will lead a child to suicide.”
“But it’s not as simple as what we’ve been led to believe,” she added. “There are a number of reasons why children may want to transition and, in many cases, they don’t have anything to do with feelings of being ‘born in the wrong body.'”
In other words, offering transgender “therapy” on a whim is not only irresponsible – it’s also medically negligent, and could ruin a person’s life. But Planned Parenthood couldn’t care less, as its mission would seem to be to destroy as many human lives as possible in the name of “women’s health.”
While Planned Parenthood currently does not offer “gender affirming hormone therapy” to minors, the abortion provider does offer it to adults as early as the first visit, so long as a patient is deemed as having given “informed consent.”
But how can a patient truly give informed consent after just one visit to a Planned Parenthood clinic? Is Planned Parenthood employing experts like Dr. Soh to provide legitimate counseling to each and every person that walks through its doors demanding a sex change? Hardly.
In truth, it would appear as though Planned Parenthood sees nothing wrong with chemically molesting any and every confused individual who walks through its doors, no questions asked – because this is the “loving” and “tolerant” thing to do, society is told.
Keep in mind that many medical professionals who work day-to-day with gender dysphoric individuals refuse to perform certain transgender procedures, period. Even if it’s determined that an individual is eligible for surgery or hormone injections, these same doctors won’t perform these procedures because of the immense risks involved.
But at Planned Parenthood, there are very few limitations or guidelines when it comes to performing such procedures – even when they lead to patients deeply regretting their decision to opt for them later on in life.
“Young age at the time of sterilization is the strongest predictor of future regret,” one report explains. “Women under the age of 30 at the time of the procedure were twice as likely as women older than 30 to report regretting having the procedure performed.”
